Wood Polymer Composite
Often referred to as liquid wood. Used when ever complex geometrical shapes with a wooden appearance are needed. Castings for electronic devices, handles, furniture, outdoor ground surfaces, bio-urns, fashion accessories and building components for vehicle interiors. In building interiors they are used for skirting boards and shelving systems.

For the production of WPC, waste materials and by-products from wood and agricultural industry, e.g. offcuts, sawdust, residues from board manufacturing, pulping sludge, can serve as a raw material.

Made of wood fibers, plastic matrix and various additives. The proportion of wood fiber is generally 50-90%. Processed using typical plastic processing techniques like injection molding, extrusion, compression molding and thermoforming. Maximum processing temp should not exceed 200 C.

Based on renewable materials, substitute for tropical woods in outdoor use, biodegradable if chemical free. an environmentally friendly alternative to neat plastics in several applications.
